Build with the direction layer.

Cadenza plans the story, locks continuity, and routes models before a render credit is spent. The same engine is available from the studio, the REST API, and any MCP-capable agent.

Connect your agent

Pick your client. The Cadenza server is added with no secret written to any config file; a browser approval links your account.

npx @cadenza/mcp-server install claude-code
npx cadenza connect

Adds Cadenza to this project's .mcp.json, then links your account (run + click approve).

The tools

This table is generated from the live tool catalogue, the same source the REST discovery document and the MCP server use.

ToolScopeWhat it does
generate_videogenerateRough intent → full Creative Director Engine → directed sequence + renders.
ad_from_urlbrand+generateProduct URL → scrape + Brand Memory → on-brand directed ad.
refine_shotgenerateRegenerate one shot with a change, keeping the rest stable.
extend_sequencegenerateAdd shots inheriting the locked continuity refs (no drift).
list_brand_profilesreadList the account's saved brands.
set_brand_profilebrandSave/update a brand (the locked BRAND_BLOCK).
get_story_intelligence_reportreadAdvisory story notes + shot plan, without generating.
plan_director_promptreadFull Cinematic Research Engine plan (idiom, timeline, camera physics, frame feel, depth, color, artifact risk) + per-model prompts — no render, no credits.
list_modelsreadThe model roster (registry): status, capabilities, cost tier, what each is best for, which are routable.
generate_video_stagedgenerateLOOK LOCK: text → inspectable hero-frame still (image model, provenance-signed) → that exact frame animated by reference-driven i2v. Two-stage pro flow, both stages policy-routed + failover-safe.
animate_imagegenerateAnimate YOUR image (product/character/still) — locked as the continuity reference, routed to the best image-to-video model.
list_publish_connectionspublishList connected platforms (and what's linkable).
publish_videopublishOne-tap multi-platform publish — prepare previews, then post the platforms you explicitly confirm.
